We welcome tours Monday through Saturday, and the best time to visit is between 10 am and 4 pm. This will allow you to see most of our boarding dogs in their playgroups and ensures a quieter kennel for touring. You can also take a virtual tour anytime if you can’t visit in person.

We provide raised beds and bedding in each suite, but you’re welcome to bring your dog’s own bed/bedding and toys. We provide food and water bowls, but if your dog uses a slower feeder at home, you can bring that as well. We recommend maintaining your dog’s regular diet and encourage you to bring their own food. We do offer house food for $3 per day. You are also free to bring treats from home.

All boarding guests take potty breaks every two to three hours during the day.

Yes. However, we do not give injections. If your dog needs injected medication, we recommend boarding them at a veterinary facility.

Yes. In fact, we encourage you to do so as it reduces the likelihood of stomach issues in your canine companion.

Dogs who already come to daycare at The Posh Paw Resort are always welcome to join their normal playgroups while boarding. Other boarding dogs enjoy playtime with or without other dogs depending on the results of a temperament test. Some breeds are excluded from playgroups for others’ safety. All dogs get playtime outside of their kennel, either in a playgroup with other dogs or with humans.

If your dog becomes ill while boarding with us, we will contact you first then seek treatment from a local veterinarian if needed.

We ask that all boarding guests be dropped off at least an hour before we close so they have time to settle in. During the week, a late pick-up fee of $10 applies after 3 pm. This fee does not apply on Saturday or Sunday.

No. We do not mix sizes for playtimes or potty times. Dogs are kept with dogs their own size for safety reasons.

We recommend making a reservation because our daycare can be very busy at times, especially during the summer boarding months. We also suggest scheduling a recurring appointment if you know your dog will be participating in daycare the same days each week.

All dogs must come in for an introductory daycare visit. This visit lasts two hours and costs $15. Not all dogs enjoy socializing with other dogs, and that is okay. Age, breed, and other factors can all impact whether a dog is willing or able to engage in daycare. Before your first visit, we’ll have you complete a daycare profile to tell us more about your dog. We do not allow any dogs to enter our playgroups until we feel that they are ready/comfortable and that other dogs are accepting of them.

If your dog likes playing with other dogs and meeting new humans, they may be ready for daycare. If they’re not friendly with new humans or are aggressive toward people or other dogs, they likely are not good daycare candidates.

A basic groom includes a bath, haircut, nail trim, and ear cleaning. Our groomers will meet with you at your dog’s appointment time to discuss options. They’ll also let you know about any specials we have going on.

Prices vary depending on the client’s breed and condition. You are welcome to call to inquire about pricing based on your dog’s breed, but you’ll get the most accurate quote by meeting with our groomer so they can evaluate your dog and their needs.

We are typically booked three to four weeks out for grooming, so we encourage you to plan accordingly. You are also welcome to set up a recurring appointment to guarantee a date and time with your preferred groomer.

Furmination is a de-shedding process in which we use a special brush and air dryer to remove a dog’s thick undercoat. This is a very effective method of hair removal and is available as an add-on to your dog’s grooming service.

At drop-off, one of our groomers will meet with you to discuss your options and help you decide which look and cut is right for your furry friend.
