The Posh Paw Resort daycamp offers structured and stimulative play for all of our guests. Our Daycamp offers a safe environment with trained Daycamp Pack Leaders supervising and stimulating the dogs.We have multiple Daycamp rooms in which dogs are separated in groups based on size and temperament or we have one-on-one play with a Daycamp attendant for those enjoying single play. We offer indoor and outdoor play, weather permitting. Our indoor Daycamp areas have rubber floors approved therapeutic for dogs joints and our outdoor yards have dog specific turf. We keep their days filled with activities including tennis balls, agility equipment, bacon flavored bubbles and enrichment toys. We also work on teaching skills such as group sit, gate control, and recall. Yearly, we participate in a nation-wide Daycamp Games competition. We have training available too! Who's Eligible for Daycamp?All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations, including Distemper/Parvo (DHPPV), Rabies and Bordetella. We have must have written proof of vaccinations prior to your appointment or our staff can call your veterinary clinic in advance to verify. All dogs must be spayed or neutered to participate in Daycamp. We offer Dayboarding for those not altered. We allow socialized dogs into our pack while we work to improve and grow their socialization skills with other dogs and humans.
Our Introduction Process:Initially, we have your dog come for an Introductory Daycamp visit for two hours (cost is $15). This visit does require an appointment and should be scheduled ahead of time. We will also have you complete a daycare profile form so that we know more about your dog.We do the initial two hour visit so it's a short, positive experience for your dog during their first visit. When you arrive for you appointment, you will complete a Daycamp profile form so we can get to know more about your dog. If you would like, you can print out the Daycamp profile form ahead of time and fill it out. When you come back to pick up your dog we will give you a report card and let you know how they did. We will then make our recommendation for the next steps, to start coming in for Half-day or Full days Daycamp if we feel that they are ready.
